MTN SME Support Programme

The MTN Ghana SME Support Programme is a legacy project of MTN Ghana designed as part of its 25th Anniversary celebrations.

The project, which kicked off in 2023, will support 500 Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) acrossGhana over a 5-year period until 2027.

Our focus is to support businesses, led by Youth, Women, orPersons with Disabilities (PWDs) with business development services and funding to grow their businesses.

The project is an initiative of the MTN Ghana Foundation partnership with Innohub Foundation, an enterprise support organization.

Who Qualifies?

Youth-Led Businesses…

Young adults (below 35 years) with early-stage startups. Startups to be selected must demonstrate the following:

  • A proven and growing market size
  • Gone beyond proof of concept with early customers and revenue.
  • Clear impact area.
  • Ability to generate revenue and service a debt facility.
  • High potential to scale.

Women-Led Businesses…

There is no age limit for this category.

  • Female entrepreneurs in urban and rural areas engaged in activities along the agribusiness value chain, commerce, etc.
  • Women in fish processing, gari processing, beekeeping, etc.

PWDs-Led Businesses…

There is no age limit for this category.

  • Business leaders with all forms of disabilities
