The AFD Inclusive and Digital Business (AFIDBA), a 6-month accelerator program organized by Innohub in partnership with Bond’innov and with support from the French Development Agency, offers personalized training and coaching sessions, international visibility, and funding. The program supports entrepreneurs who contribute to creating a more inclusive economy, especially at the BoP (Bottom of the Pyramid) population.
Through the AFIDBA Program, Innohub provided tailored business development support to participating start-ups, supporting them to refine their business plans and financial models, develop their go-to-market strategy, design their impact story, structure an investment roadmap, etc. Furthermore, Innohub supported in making their businesses inclusive, scalable and investment ready through coaching and mentoring sessions, workshops, demo pitches and one-on-one sessions.
After an intensive 6-month support from Innohub for cohort 3 of the program, 4 out of 5 start-ups successfully completed all deliverables, with two of them, Ramafrique GH and Tiger House Limited, attracting a total funding of 27,620EUR for their businesses.
Ramafrique GH reduces plastic waste by combining plastic waste with African prints to produce beautiful and durable waterproof bags. These bags are sewn by vulnerable women.
Tiger House produces healthy and natural snacks, whole meal and household products made with tiger nut. This process is a zero-waste approach, reduces malnutrition and enhances healthy living.
